Original artworks from Heidelberg – Paintings & Drawings

Contemporary art between hyperrealism and emotional abstraction

Individual commissioned artworks

A work of art created just for you – personal, unique, and crafted with emotion.
Whether it’s a portrait, a special subject, or your own emotional vision, I accompany you from our first conversation to your finished original piece.

In my atelier in Heidelberg, I create original paintings and drawings in which I strive to combine technical precision with emotional depth. My work moves between hyperrealism and free, expressive abstraction—a space of tension where detail and emotion meet. Each piece is unique and grows out of a personal exploration of light, structure, memory, and inner perception.

For my paintings, I primarily work with oil and acrylic on canvas or wood; for portraits and drawings, I use graphite on high-quality papers in various formats. My focus is not only on technical excellence, but also on the atmosphere a work unfolds within a space. I have always believed that art should not only be seen, but felt—allowing emotion to emerge through emotion.

Alongside my independent original works, I also create individual commissioned pieces—from personal motifs or moods to highly expressive portraits. My atelier is located in Heidelberg in the Rhein-Neckar region, yet my art reaches far beyond: I ship my works internationally, making them accessible both locally and worldwide.

If you are looking for an original painting or drawing that combines emotional intensity with precise execution, I warmly invite you to discover my work.

Paintings

Original paintings from Heidelberg – Oil and acrylic

I create my paintings in oil and acrylic on canvas or wood, and each one is a unique piece. My work constantly moves within the contrast between the search for a clearly defined technique in the sense of hyperrealism—where I can express pure intensity through the image—and a style that leans toward emotional abstraction, where I allow my hand to let go of technique and release the deepest, freest part of the creative process.

Drawings

Original graphite drawings – Detailed artworks

My drawings are created through careful graphite work—both in shades of grey and in color—on high-quality papers in formats ranging from A5 to A2. I aim not only to showcase technical skill, but to follow my belief that the true purpose of a drawing is to move the viewer. To capture the intensity of a moment and allow the viewer to resonate with it. Each drawing is an original—precise, calm, and at the same time deeply emotional.

Fine Art Prints

Limited Fine Art Prints – High-quality art prints

I have always understood art as something that should be accessible to everyone. That is why I offer high-quality reproductions of my works at very fair prices. Each print is produced on premium paper using a professional printing process that brings every copy as close as possible to the original.

Commissions

Personal art created according to your wishes

Are you looking for an individual painting or a personal drawing? Whether it’s a portrait or a free subject, I create commissioned works in a variety of formats and techniques. From the first idea to the finished original, each piece reflects your story while preserving my artistic signature.

Art from Heidelberg – Atelier in the Rhein-Neckar Region

My work carries the roots of my past in the Basque Country and is now created in Heidelberg, in the heart of the Rhein-Neckar region. “My” atelier is a place of concentration and retreat—a space of calm and pause, where there is room to feel. Here, I strive to transform ideas into paintings and allow drawings to come to life.

As a contemporary artist in Heidelberg, I work both on independent series and on individual commissions for private collectors. Many of my works remain in the Baden-Württemberg region, while others find their way into international collections.

Heidelberg, with its history, architecture, and expansive landscape, is a direct inspiration for my perception of space, light, and atmosphere. It is a unique place to let creativity flow in all its facets. At the same time, I understand art as something universal—independent of place and open to everyone.

Original artworks can be viewed by appointment. International shipping options are, of course, available.

Can original artworks be purchased directly?

Yes, all paintings and drawings marked as “Original” are unique one-of-a-kind pieces and can be purchased directly. Each work is created in my atelier in Heidelberg and handcrafted in oil, acrylic, or graphite. If a piece is available, it can be reserved or bought directly. If you have any questions about availability or details of an artwork, you can contact me via the contact form or by email.

Do you create individual commissioned artworks?

Yes, I create individual commissioned pieces—both paintings and drawings. Whether it is a portrait, a personal subject, or a free interpretation, I consider every commission not only something personal, but a true honor. That is why I always give my very best to realize it as closely as possible to the client’s wishes.

Throughout the entire process, I maintain direct communication with the client, with the goal of creating an original artwork that reflects their story.

Commissions from Heidelberg, the Rhein-Neckar region, as well as internationally, are always welcome.

How does a commissioned work proceed?

First, we discuss the subject, format, technique, and the planned timeframe. Once these points are clarified, I begin the creation process. In any case, I inform the person who commissioned the work as soon as I start, and I always offer the option to receive updates during the process—or to wait until the very end to see the finished piece.

The work is then developed in my atelier in Heidelberg. Only once the artwork is fully completed will it be carefully shipped or personally handed over.

Do you ship artworks internationally?

Yes, original paintings, drawings, and Fine Art Prints are carefully packaged and shipped worldwide. I have extensive experience sending different types of artworks and formats to various parts of the world. I use appropriate protective materials to ensure the quality of the artwork during transport and generally provide a tracking number so that both the client and I can monitor the shipment status at all times.

What is the difference between an original and a Fine Art Print?

An original is a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted artwork created in oil, acrylic, or graphite. Fine Art Prints, on the other hand, are high-quality art prints of selected works, produced in limited editions. They allow you to acquire the expressive power of an artwork at a different price point, but they do not replace the material uniqueness of an original piece.

Can the artworks be viewed in Heidelberg?

Yes, visits to my atelier in Heidelberg are possible by appointment. This allows you to experience the works in their original form, perceive the details and textures, and feel the atmosphere each piece creates within the space. If you would like to see a particular artwork, please contact me in advance to arrange an appointment.

What formats and techniques do you use?

It depends on the type of work. My paintings are primarily created in oil and acrylic on canvas or—exceptionally—on wood. The formats vary greatly, ranging from small canvases to large-scale pieces.

My drawings are made using a broad graphite range on high-quality papers, in formats from A5 to A2.

Each commission is its own world, and I adapt individually to the desired format. The choice of technique depends on the subject, the expression, and the intended effect.

How long does it take to complete an artwork?

The duration depends on the current workload, the technique, the format, and the level of detail. Smaller drawings can be completed within a few days, while larger paintings naturally require more time. At the time of commissioning, we discuss a realistic timeframe together.

Quality, precision, and emotional depth are always my priority. Personally, it is more important to me to create a piece that truly reflects what the client envisions and to dedicate the necessary time to it, rather than producing fast commissions that do not have the quality they deserve.
