A few months ago I had the fortune of reading one of those stories that stay etched in your memory. Filled with emotion and subtlety, throughout the entire journey of its characters there is the image of a small blue bird, whose feather, at a certain moment, falls and is caught by one of the protagonists.
The image of that hand stayed with me, imprinted on my skin, and I knew it would become part of my work.
This painting is a challenge and, at the same time, a journey. A deep inner journey and a desire to honour the work from which it draws its inspiration. The quality of the painting is inseparable from the quality of the words that built it.
